Evolution Dance Academy offers several diverse disciplines including a foundation in classical ballet, tap and jazz.  Building upon the classic disciplines students may be educated in music theater, contemporary, hip hop, modern, and acrobatics. 

**Evolution accepts students aged 2 and over to being to foster their love for dance. Keep an eye out for speical mommy and me classes that pop up throughout the year to get your dancer age 16 months and up invovled!

​Dakota Bucher
Chelsea started working with us in September of 2013. She started dancing at the young age of 3 and then began dancing competitively at the age of 8 and continued until the age of 18. Chelsea has been formally trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. She has also taken numerous technique, conditioning and improvisation classes to further her education as a dancer. She has participated in numerous workshops offered in the Central New York area and she was given the opportunity to go to Disney Land to participate in workshops offered by Hector Flores and Aimee Woods. She has received a number of awards during her competitive dancing career and received overall high scores for her contemporary and lyrical solos.
In her first year at our studio, she received a choreography award for her lyrical group. She has received numerous awards and high placements at competition with her students also receiving special awards from the judging staff. Chelsea is an upbeat and energetic instructor that loves the art of dance.
Dakota has been with Miss Hannah since she was 10 years old.  Dakota has been formally trained in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, lyrical, modern, conteporary, acro, music theater and hip hop.  Dakota has been a competitive dancer for the past 7 years.  During that time she has won several titles, special awards, judges awards, choreography awards, national invitations and scholarships.
Dakota has attended a number of professional workshops including but not limited to workshops with Ameila Lowe, Lehere Dance, Saratoga Perfomring Arts, Colleen Walsh.
Dakota has been a student teacher since she was 12 years old.  She has been actively teaching on her own for the past two years.  Dakotas passion for dance shines through when she teaches her students and educates them.
Dakota was also a member of "Team Disney" and the Cutting Edge performance team for three years in a row.  
Hannah has over 20 years of formal dance training in ballet, tap, lyrical, hip hop, irish step, pointe, modern, contemporary, and acrobatics. She has taken master classes with the NYC Rockette's, Dance Xplosion in Disney World with Hector Flores, Amiee Woods, Dance Rochester with Aaron Tolson, and SUNY Brockport. Hannah has also trained with world champion tappers out of Albany. She has also been a competitive dancer for many years.
Hannah has won numerous awards for performances in Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and overall high scores for musical theater and lyrical. Her choreography has received overall high score awards and numerous top 10 winners at both the regional and national levels. She has trained students who have won regionals and attained scholarships to attend nationals. Hannah has also won dancers the overall technique award.
Hannah has also won a number of choreography awards for her contemporary and jazz routines. Her lyrical dances have placed in the top five and won overall at many different competitions. 
 She has also had students receive many special awards.
Hannah is a graduate of Syracuse University. She has a Bachelor's of Science in Social Work and a Master's in Social Work. She currently is a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW).  Hannah has continued her dance training with Progessive Ballet Barre technique, CLI studios technque and teacher education program/certification and dance teacher training seminars.
Hannah's fun and energeic personality and creativity in the classroom are contagious to those around her.

Molly Fraser
Katie Nosik
Molly has been with Miss Hannah since she was 2 years old.  Molly has been to many conventions and done workshops with Jon Lehrer, Amelia Lowe, and Martin King. 
Molly is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theater, and modern dance.  Molly has won numerous awards, judges' reocognitions, scholarhsip awards and more during the time she danced competitivley.  Molly specializes in teaching the younger children at the studio.  Molly's energetic and fun personality make her an integral part of the EDA team. Molly is currently studying business at OCC.  
Katie has been dancing for 17 years.  Most of her traning was under the direction of studio owner Pam Farrar of Always Dancing!, who worked with Susan Alvarez Hughes.  Katie trained in several dance forms including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe, hip hop and modern. She earned many awards, judges' recognitions, workshop scholarships and high scores while she danced competitively from 2009-2014.  During that time Katie was slected to assist in ballet instuction teaching students aged 5-8.  Katie continued her dance education at SUNY Postdam under the instruction of Robin Collen, PhD, Donald Borsch, and Jenna Del Monte.  Throughout her education there she was slected to participate in  multiple shows including faculty and the student choreographers.  Katie graduated with a BS in Business administraction with a minor in Arts Magnagment and is employed at OneGroup incurance agency in Syracuse.
