Evolution Dance Academy offers several diverse disciplines including a foundation in classical ballet, tap and jazz.  Building upon the classic disciplines students may be educated in music theater, contemporary, hip hop, modern, and acrobatics. 

**Evolutions accepts students aged 2 and over to being to foster their love for dance.

Samantha Miller
Chelsea started working with us in September of 2013. She started dancing at the young age of 3 and then began dancing competitively at the age of 8 and continued until the age of 18. Chelsea has been formally trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. She has also taken numerous technique, conditioning and improvisation classes to further her education as a dancer. She has participated in numerous workshops offered in the Central New York area and she was given the opportunity to go to Disney Land to participate in workshops offered by Hector Flores and Aimee Woods. She has received a number of awards during her competitive dancing career and received overall high scores for her contemporary and lyrical solos.
In her first year at our studio, she received a choreography award for her lyrical group. She has received numerous awards and high placements at competition with her students also receiving special awards from the judging staff. Chelsea is an upbeat and energetic instructor that loves the art of dance.
Samantha has over 20 years of experience in jazz, lyrical, ballet and acrobatics/tumbling. She’s danced at various competitions and won numerous awards at both regional and national levels. She’s also danced at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Carnival Cruise Line and at the NFL ProBowl.
Originally from El Paso Texas, she moved to Syracuse in 2008 to go to school at SUNY-ESF. Sam earned her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering and her master’s degree in Engineering Management. She tends to be known at work as the “dancing engineer” because no matter which direction her career takes her, dance is never out of sight.
She loves teaching students of all ages and thinks the most rewarding part is seeing the smile on their face when they’ve mastered a new trick they’ve been working on.
Hannah has over 20 years of formal dance training in ballet, tap, lyrical, hip hop, irish step, pointe, modern, contemporary, and acrobatics. She has taken master classes with the NYC Rockette's, Dance Xplosion in Disney World with Hector Flores, Amiee Woods, Dance Rochester with Aaron Tolson, and SUNY Brockport. She has also been a competitive dancer for many years.
Hannah has won numerous awards for performances in Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and overall high scores for musical theater and lyrical. Her choreography has received overall high score awards and numerous top 10 winners at both the regional and national levels. She has trained students who have won regionals and attained scholarships to attend nationals. Hannah has also won dancers the overall technique award.
Hannah has also won a number of choreography awards for her contemporary and jazz routines. She has also had students receive many special awards.
Hannah is a graduate of Syracuse University. She has a Bachelor's of Science in Social Work and a Master's in Social Work. She currently is a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW). 
Hannah's fun and energeic personality and creativity in the classroom are contagious to those around her. 
Dakota Bucher
Dakota has been with Miss Hannah since she was 10 years old.  Dakota has been formally trained in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, lyrical, modern, conteporary, acro, music theater and hip hop.  Dakota has been a competitive dancer for the past 7 years.  During that time she has won several titles, special awards, judges awards, choreography awards, national invitations and scholarships.
Dakota has attended a number of professional workshops including but not limited to workshops with Ameila Lowe, Lehere Dance, Saratoga Perfomring Arts, Colleen Walsh.
Dakota has been a student teacher since she was 12 years old.  She has been actively teaching on her own for the past two years.  Dakotas passion for dance shines through when she teaches her students and educates them.
Dakota was also a member of "Team Disney" and the Cutting Edge performance team for three years in a row.
